and it was excellent. Philip B launched their Russian Amber Shampoo in a travel size and sampled us a few weeks ago. As you know I haven’t stopped talking about it. Tonight I shampooed my hair with the Russian Amber Shampoo, left it in for 5 minutes and added the White Truffle Conditioner. I left both of them in my hair for 10 minutes. As I washed it out I combed through my hair and let my hair air dry. It feels incredible. It feels soft and hydrated. My scalp has a tingling sensation from being so clean and the volume it gives my hair is awesome.
I had an hour and we have two new products launching next week that I needed to put to the test one more time before the launch on www.3floz.com so I opted to treat myself to an at home spa experience. I’d put it in the top 10 of my at home spa experiences. It went something like this. I started with Ole Henkrisen’s Micro/Mini Peel Kit. Almond polish followed by lemon and chamomile. Before I started I ran a bath and put the Dr. H Citron Bath oil in the water. Lemon and Chamomile mask on. Soaked in the tub and wet the hair enough to apply the Philip B Russian Amber Shampoo, this stuff is liquid gold. 20 minutes of the Russian Amber Shampoo and my hair feels hydrated and soft and it has this vibrant bounce to it.
30 minutes later my face feels like I just left a in-spa facial, my hair looks like it was professional done and I’m as relaxed as if I had gone to a spa.
Doctor’s Dermatologic Formula (DDF) was founded in 1991 by renowned New York dermatologist, Dr. Howard Sobel. Dr. Sobel was among the first to pioneer the union of cosmetic dermatology to topical skin care when he founded his own skincare line. His goal was to provide his patients with products that were over-the-counter yet designed with a dermatologist’s knowledge to deliver excellent results. He was also instrumental in changing the way we think of our skin care regimens by initiating protocols designed for specific skin concerns; acne, hyperpigmentation, preventative and restorative anti-aging, and sensitive skin. This is significant given that up until the revelation of designing for specific skin concerns, much of skin care was typically categorized for “dry”, “oily”, or “normal” skin.
DDF utilizes a cutting-edge approach to developing advanced skincare, called Integrated Science. Grounded in Dermatology, DDF integrates knowledge and expertise from the three additional skin sciences – biotechnology, nutrition and esthetics – to stay on the forefront of the most up-to-the-minute advances in skin care technology. DDF Integrated Science conducts research that is recognized at top scientific meetings, such as the American Academy of Dermatology, and published in peer reviewed scientific journals.
DDF collaborates with some of the best, most world-renowned experts in the skin care industry. Our scientists do not just look to one or two experts for inspiration, but tap into an entire global network top laboratories, institutions, and pioneering specialists dedicated to studying skin and providing unparalleled up-to-the-minute advances in skin care technology, to inspire us to deliver breakthrough skin care solutions.
